For the past few years, I have been obsessed with Little Free Library's. Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes.
The vision is a Little Free Library in every community and a book for every reader. It is believed that all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege. You can learn more here: https://littlefreelibrary.org
I have personally donated books and received books from Little Free Library's all over the world. Because of my love for Little Free Library, the mission, and vision, I want to start my own Little Free Library in my community (North Carolina).
I am starting this GoFundMe to solicit funds to purchase the library, install the library, and purchase books to start the library. I am asking for your assistance to see my vision come to fruition.
Note: If you are interested in donating books and you are not in the North Carolina area, please send an email to meccakterry@gmail.com
Thank you in advance for your support and for spreading the love of reading.
